Rajahmundry: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan reached erstwhile East Godavari to interact with the farmers of Kadiam village today. According to the sources, Pawan Kalyan will interact with the farmers whose crops were damaged due to untimely rains. Pawan Kalyan demanded that the government to provide assistance to farmers who have suffered crop losses due to the recent untimely rains. He estimated that the crop has been damaged in about 3 lakh acres across the state, and urged the authorities to assess the loss and provide prompt help to the affected farmers. Kalyan also assured that if the Jana Sena government comes to power, it will take a special policy to help farmers who have lost crops in natural calamities. The fans and activists of Pawan Kalyan gave him a grand welcome at Rajahmundry Airport, and photos of the event have since gone viral.
