Madhya Pradesh: Another cheetah named Daksha has died at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, India, making it the third cheetah death in around 40 days at the park. The cheetah was found injured by a monitoring team and was given the necessary medication and treatment, but it died around 12 noon, according to an official. Madhya Pradesh Chief Conservator of Forest JS Chauhan said that the cheetah may have been injured due to a "violent interaction" during mating with an adult male coalition that included two male cheetahs named Vayu and Agni. It is said that Daksha was released in enclosure number one, and the two male cheetahs were released from boma 7 (enclosure) for mating, but the male cheetahs turned violent during the process, which is a normal thing, he added.
