The dress code for the NEET medical entrance exam has once again drawn sharp criticism after students experienced invasive inspection procedures last week. Students and parents took to social media to express their distress over the staff's behavior during security checks. In Sangli, Maharashtra, parents of female students claimed that their daughters were subjected to intrusive inspections, including checking their underwear and asking them to remove their kurtas and turn around. Meanwhile, in Hind Motor, West Bengal, numerous students wearing jeans were denied entry to the HMC examination center and forced to change clothes with accompanying individuals. Some students had to purchase new clothes from nearby shops in order to gain entry. Additionally, students wearing full-sleeved shirts encountered similar issues, with some not being allowed into the examination center even after changing into their father's shirts.
