Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation for the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower in Hyderabad on Monday. The tower will stand at a towering height of 400 feet (120 meters) and will be constructed on six acres of land in Narsingi at a cost of Rs 200 crore. The tower will house the temples of Sri Sri Radha Krishna and Sri Venkateswara Swamy and will be a cultural landmark for Hyderabad. The Telangana government announced Rs 25 crore for the construction of the temple, showing their support for organizations that promote peace and spirituality. The tower will also provide accommodation for 1,500 devotees, and an Annadanam hall will be present where 500 visiting devotees can be served food at one time. The temple complex will feature a library, Kalyanai Auditorium, IMAX open-air theaters, lecture halls, Q complex, and guest rooms.
