Machilipatnam: Two Secretariat employees, Nagaraju and Gayathri, fell in love and got married in a Rama Temple in Buddhalapalem village in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh. Despite belonging to different castes, the couple decided to tie the knot. However, they were afraid of what their elders might do to them for marrying inter-caste, so they locked themselves inside the temple. After the villagers informed the police, they reached the spot and provided counselling to the couple, assuring protection for them. Both Nagaraju and Gayathri are majors and Secretariat employees. The police added that they will also provide counselling to both families.
