Anantapur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy released the funds of the Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme in Anantapur district, with the aim of empowering future generations to compete globally. Speaking at the event, Chief Minister YS Jagan emphasized the transformative power of education, stating that it has the ability to break caste barriers and lift families out of poverty. CM Jagan highlighted the state government's commitment to supporting students, including those pursuing higher education. He stated that the Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme aims to prevent families in the state from going into debt due to their children's education. Jagan said that under the scheme, funds are directly deposited into the accounts of mothers of students pursuing higher studies. ITI students receive Rs. 10,000, polytechnic students receive Rs. 15,000, and degree, engineering and medicine students receive Rs. 20,000.
