Guntur: Andhra Pradesh has seen a rise in chain-snatching incidents, causing tension among the residents. In the latest incident, which occurred in Guntur on Friday, a woman was robbed of her chain by a suspect who fled the scene on his friend's motorcycle. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed on the premises of the building. The footage shows the suspect entering the building and approaching the woman as she waits for a lift. He then snatches her chain and quickly escapes on his accomplice's motorcycle, who was waiting at the gate. The victim reported the incident to the police, who have launched an investigation into the matter. This incident follows another chain-snatching case reported in Anantapur earlier.
