Hyderabad: In a tragic incident that has sent shockwaves through the Indian student community in the US, a 24-year-old Telugu student was shot dead at a gas station in Franklinton, Columbus, Ohio. Veera Saiesh, a native of Palakollu, Andhra Pradesh, had come to the US to pursue his master's degree and had his H1B visa picked. He was just ten days away from graduating when he was fatally shot at a Shell gas station on West Broad Street in Franklinton at 12:50 am local time. According to reports, Saiesh Veera was the first person in his family to come to the US and was working hard to uplift his family's financial situation after his father's passing two years ago.
