The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana is gearing up for its third public meeting in Maharashtra after successful events in Bhokar and Kandhar-Loha. The upcoming event, scheduled for April 24 at Aamkhas Grounds in Aurangabad, is expected to draw even larger crowds, particularly from the farming community. However, the Aurangabad police have denied permission for the meeting at Aamkhas Grounds on security grounds, leaving BRS leaders scrambling to find an alternative venue. Armoor MLA Jeevan Reddy, who is overseeing arrangements for the meeting, was informed of the police decision. Despite the setback, the BRS remains undeterred and is determined to hold the meeting as planned. According to reports, the police have suggested shifting the location to a site near Milind College in Aurangabad. The BRS has been buoyed by the positive response to its previous public meetings in Maharashtra and hopes to continue its momentum with the upcoming event. However, the police denial has thrown a wrench in
