Nagpur: An Indigo flight travelling from Mumbai to Nagpur recently suffered a tail strike during landing at Nagpur airport. The incident occurred on April 14, 2023, as flight 6E-203 was en route to Nagpur. According to IndiGo Airlines, the aircraft was immediately declared grounded at Nagpur airport for assessment and repairs. The incident is currently under investigation to determine the cause of the tail strike, which occurs when the tail or empennage of an aircraft hits the ground or any other stationary object during take-off or landing. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
