Telangana Minister KTR has announced that the BRS government intends to protect industries by participating in the bidding process for the Vizag Steel Plant. He further stated that a delegation from Singareni will explore the feasibility of submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a joint venture with the steel plant. The Singareni team will discuss the EOI's feasibility, the required funds for the steel plant, and the products to be obtained in exchange. However, AP IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath criticized the BRS government's decision, claiming that their participation in the bidding process indicates support for the privatization process. He has called on the BRS government to address the various speculations circulating regarding their intentions. Furthermore, the AP government opposes both the bidding process and the privatization process, according to the minister.
