Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam steel industry, known for producing high-quality steel on an international level, has recently invited bids for capital raising. Telangana Chief Minister KCR has announced his intention to participate in the bidding process. To explore this possibility, a delegation from Singareni Collieries was sent to the Visakha Steel Plant on Tuesday. However, as the Plant CMD was away on a visit to Delhi, the Telangana delegation will meet with top officials from the Marketing Department today. Government sources have indicated that the Singareni delegation will investigate the feasibility of submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a joint venture with the steel plant.
