Amaravati: A tense situation has arisen in Amaravati as a result of an ongoing dispute over illegal sand mining between leaders of the YCP and TDP parties. MLA Shankar Rao and former MLA Kommalapati Sridhar have engaged in a war of words over the issue, with challenges issued for a meeting at the Amaralingeshwara temple. In response to the brewing tensions, both YCP and TDP workers have prepared for possible conflict, and the police have been put on alert.
