Hyderabad: On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vande Bharat Express Train that connects Secunderabad with Tirupati. This is the second Vande Bharat train to start from Telangana within three months. The train boasts being India's fastest, allowing for a travel time of 8 hours and 30 minutes, much less compared to the usual 12 hours taken by other existing services. It is also equipped with a regenerative braking system that prevents energy loss during high-speed braking. The train's regular operations will begin on Sunday, making travel seamless for those visiting the spiritual city of Tirupati from Hyderabad. The semi-high speed train will have four halts at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole, Nellore, and Tirupati. The inaugural train was filled with around 60 excited students who had a wonderful experience interacting with the Prime Minister. The Secunderabad to Tirupati Vande Bharat will depart at 6 am and reach its destination at 2:30 pm.
