The upcoming pan-India project "Agent" starring Tollywood's young star, Akhil Akkineni, is set for release in April. In anticipation of Akkineni's birthday on April 8th, the film's makers announced that it will release worldwide on April 28th. A stylish poster featuring Akhil brandishing a machine gun and sporting a ferocious expression against the backdrop of a massive explosion was unveiled on Friday. According to sources close to the production unit, "Agent" is a spy thriller with a heavy focus on action. Producer Surender Reddy has presented Akhil in a never-before-seen avatar and character. Malayalam superstar Mammotty will be playing a significant role, while Rasool Ellore is in charge of cinematography. The film's unit sources reveal that "Agent" will be competing in the summer race and the extended holiday season will be a significant advantage for the movie.
