Hyderabad: The Telangana BJP Legal Cell has filed a petition in the Telangana High Court, protesting against the alleged illegal arrest of the BJP State President, Bandi Sanjay Kumar. The BJP has also filed a habeas corpus petition seeking Sanjay's release. The Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court is expected to make a decision on the matter shortly. In response to Sanjay's arrest, the BJP has called for statewide protests. BJP supporters have gathered at the Bommalaramaram police station in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, where Sanjay is being held. The police have heavily deployed in and around the police station.
