Bellampalli: A warning letter issued by Prabhat, the secretary of the Maoist party-affiliated labour union Singareni Karmika Samakya, to Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah has caused a stir in the district. The letter accused Chinnaiah of subjugating women who come to him for work, committing rowdyism, terrorizing people by committing land grabs, and being involved in corruption. He also demanded the immediate payment of money to the affected farmers. The letter warned that if Chinnaiah did not change his behaviour, he would face punishment at the hands of the people. Followers of Chinnaiah, including Gaddam Bima Goud, Sana Shravan, Sannibabu, Sudarshan, Madhav, and Prakash received warnings from Maoists.
