Delhi Liquor Scam Case Takes a Twist: ED Joint Director Writes Letter to BRS MLC Kavitha
The Delhi liquor scam case has taken an interesting turn as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) joint director has written a letter to BRC MLC K Kavitha. In the letter, the ED joint director has stated that they are prepared to unlock the mobile phones provided by K Kavitha, but only in her presence or in the presence of her representative.
BRS Legal Cell General Secretary Soma Bharath has come forward to represent Kavitha in this matter. However, Kavitha has denied the ED's allegations of destroying the phones with malicious intent. She had handed over her old used phones to the ED on the 21st of this month and had also shown them to the media before joining the investigation.
Moreover, Kavitha had earlier written a letter to the investigating officer stating that she had not destroyed any phones.
