Undavalli Sridevi reacts to cross-voting allegations

Amaravati: Panchumurthy Anuradha, a candidate from the Telugu Desam Party, won the MLC election by surprise, revealing that YCP MLAs had engaged in cross-voting. The identities of those involved in the cross-voting have been the subject of intense debate, with Tadikonda YCP MLA Undavalli Sridevi and Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhara Reddy being prominently mentioned.

Undavalli Sridevi, the MLA for Tadikonda, has denied the allegations of cross-voting, stating that she remains fully committed to the party. However, she expressed surprise at her name being linked to the incident, given that the ballot was conducted secretly.

Sridevi released a photograph on Thursday morning, showing that she had met with Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. She stated that the Chief Minister had given her assurances regarding certain matters during their meeting. She also clarified that she had voted in accordance with the instructions provided to her for the MLC election.
