Kavitha writes to ED Assistant Director: Addresses allegations of destroyed phones

New Delhi: BRS MLC Kavitha has written a letter to ED Assistant Director Jogender in response to allegations made by the ED that she had destroyed several phones. In the letter, Kavitha stated that she is submitting all the cellphones she had used in the past, in continuation of her assistance and cooperation to the investigating authorities. However, she also made it clear that the submission of the phones does not prejudice her rights and contentions, including her right to privacy.

Kavitha also expressed her concern over what she perceives as an act of malice on the part of the agency. She pointed out that the agency had made insinuations against her in a prosecution complaint filed in November 2022, alleging that certain phones had been destroyed. She found it baffling that such allegations were made when she had not even been summoned or questioned by the agency.
