Bollywood actor Salman Khan receives death threats from notorious gangster
Mumbai: The Mumbai Police has heightened security outside the home of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan following alleged death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The Bandra Police has also launched an investigation into the matter and registered an FIR.
According to news sources, a threatening email was received by Prashant Gunjalkar, a close associate of Salman, on Saturday. The email was sent by Rohit Garg, and named gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. On Sunday, a case was registered against the trio under sections 506 (2), 120 (b), and 34 of IPC in connection with the email.
The email reportedly referenced a recent interview by Lawrence Bishnoi, where he claimed that killing Salman Khan is his sole motive, and that he will attack and kill him as soon as his security is weakened. The sender of the email also asked for the message to be shown to Salman and stated that Goldie Brar wishes to speak with him to resolve the matter.
