Today, a cabinet meeting was convened under the leadership of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan. After the meeting, CM Jagan announced that the administration will be relocating to Visakhapatnam in July, with the city serving as the new executive capital. In his address to his cabinet colleagues, CM Jagan emphasized the importance of securing all the MLC seats in the MLA quota, stating that it is the responsibility of the ministers and all others YSRCP leaders to ensure victory for their candidates. "I am closely monitoring your performance," he added. It is worth noting that CM Jagan previously announced the relocation of the executive capital to Visakhapatnam during a visit to Delhi, and reiterated this decision at an investors' conference held in the city. Despite opposition from rival political parties, CM Jagan has remained firm in his commitment to this move.
