Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC K. Kavitha has been granted permission by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to attend the hearing on March 11 in the Delhi excise policy case. This comes after Kavitha had requested a week's time to appear before the agency, which was initially rejected by the ED. In a letter to the ED, Kavitha stated that as a responsible Indian citizen and a woman of the nation, she wished to exercise her rights provided under the law. She also expressed her concern regarding the short notice provided to her for the hearing, calling it 'political victimization.' Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, is currently in Delhi where she is scheduled to lead a day-long protest at Janthar Mantar on March 10. The protest is against the delay in passing the Women's Reservation Bill by the Parliament. In the latest news, Kavitha will be speaking at a press conference on Thursday
