Bhuban Badyakar, the peanut seller from West Bengal who gained fame with his song "Kacha Badam" while selling peanuts, became an overnight sensation after a user uploaded a video of him singing. He even collaborated with Badshah and received praise from the West Bengal police. However, according to a report, Bhuban is now struggling to make ends meet. He revealed in an interview with that he has been living on rent in Dubrajpur for several months, spending a large portion of his income on rent while not earning from anywhere. He had built a new house in his village, but he cannot live there due to circumstances related to the song that made him famous. Bhuban claims he was cheated by a company and cannot even sing or upload his song online. Currently, he is earning a few thousand rupees a month by doing some small jobs, but he expressed uncertainty about how long this can continue.
