Tensions run high as Indian and Australian cricket fans clash during match

On Monday, a video of a fight between an Indian and an Australian cricket fan went viral on social media, causing widespread outrage. The incident occurred in the stands of the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, following the IND vs AUS Test match.

The video, shared by a Twitter user, showed the Australian fan telling the Indian fan to back off and stop pointing fingers at him, to which the latter reacted aggressively and used abusive language. Other Indian fans intervened and separated the two fans to prevent the situation from escalating.

What made the situation even more concerning was the chanting of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' by some men in the crowd, adding a nationalist tone to the altercation. The incident has raised concerns over the rise of nationalism and aggression among fans during sporting events.
