Hyderabad: Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party, along with his wife Nara Brahmani, paid their last respects to the mortal remains of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna at his residence in Hyderabad. Taraka Ratna passed away on Saturday while receiving treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bengaluru following a massive heart attack. Expressing his condolences on Twitter, Nara Lokesh wrote, "I can no longer hear that voice calling me brother-in-law. The footsteps that followed me have stopped. The sudden demise of Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is shocking. The death of Telugu Desam Yuva Tejam Taraka Ratna is a huge loss for our family and Telugu Desam Party." In another tweet, he added, "Your pure love and friendship is greater than our kinship. With a tearful tribute to Taraka Ratna, I pray to God to grant peace to his holy soul."
