Former MLA Jayamangala Venkataramana from Kaikaluru in Eluru district, has officially joined the YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party). Venkataramana arrived at the Tadepalli camp office today after meeting with Minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao, where he was warmly welcomed by the Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. During the meeting, Venkataramana felicitated CM Jagan with a shawl and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Later, CM Jagan reciprocated the gesture by wrapping a YSRCP scarf around Venkataramana's neck and invited him to join the party. The event witnessed some TDP leaders from the Kaikaluru constituency also joining the YSRCP. Sources reveal that CM Jagan has also offered Venkataramana an MLC (Member of Legislative Council) post.
