The Academy Awards have made history by nominating Rajamouli's "RRR" for Best Original Song, making it the first-ever Indian film to receive this prestigious nomination. The film's upbeat track "Naatu Naatu" is in the running for the prize at the upcoming ceremony. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recently held a luncheon for all the nominees in Los Angeles, USA, and the film's composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose were among the guests. At the event, Chandrabose had a fanboy moment when he met Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise. He shared a selfie with Cruise on Twitter, writing, "With Top Gun TOM (sic)." Cruise, who recently starred in the blockbuster "Top Gun: Maverick," is one of the biggest names in Hollywood. The Academy Awards ceremony will take place in a month.
