I will make future capital Visakhapatnam my residence: AP CM YS Jagan

New Delhi: AP Chief Minister YS Jagan has announced that Visakhapatnam will soon be the capital of the state and that he himself will soon shift to the city. The announcement was made at the Global Investors Summit held in New Delhi on Tuesday. CM Jagan addressed the summit and emphasized the need for cooperation from industrialists in placing Andhra Pradesh on the world stage.

Chief Minister YS Jagan also revealed that the state government is organizing an investors' meeting in Visakhapatnam in March this year and invited industrialists to attend.

CM Jagan highlighted the state's ranking as number one in the country for ease of doing business for the past three years and the single desk system for granting permits within 21 days.

Additionally, CM YS Jagan pointed out that Andhra Pradesh is the fastest growing state in the country with a growth rate of 11.43 per cent and that the state is equipped with six ports and constructing three industrial corridors. With its long coastline, Jagan emphasized the potential of the state and requested industrialists to invest in the state.
