Popular Telugu dubbing artist Srinivasa Murthy passes away

Renowned dubbing artist A Srinivasa Murthy passed away in Chennai this morning due to a cardiac arrest. He was widely known for his voice-over work for leading actors in the Indian film industry, including Surya, Ajith, Mohanlal, Shah Rukh Khan, Prabhu Deva, Upendra, Salman Khan, Rajasekhar, and Vikram. He also lent his voice to Telugu dubbed versions of numerous Hollywood films.

With a career spanning over 1000 movies in Telugu, Murthy was a favorite among many actors in the industry. He was also the recipient of the Nandi Award for his work in the film "Sivayya" (1988). The Telugu film industry mourns the loss of such a talented artist at a young age.
