Viral video: Telangana BJP Bandi Sanjay's son reportedly assaults classmate, victim admits to troubling girl
Hyderabad: Police have filed a case against Bhagirath, son of Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar, for allegedly assaulting a classmate at Mahindra University. The incident was reported to police on Tuesday by the university authorities, following the circulation of a viral video on social media which allegedly showed Bhagirath verbally and physically attacking a student.
The altercation reportedly occurred a few days ago, over an alleged relationship with a friend's sister. The victim, Sriram, has released a video in which he admitted to troubling the girl, which angered Bhagirath, but Sriram stated he no longer has any problem with Bhagirath and called the video of the assault useless. The case was registered under the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate at Dundigal Police Station.
