Telangana tourist dies after houseboat capsizes in Kerala

Kerala: In a tragic incident, a tourist from Telangana died in Alappuzha, Kerala after a houseboat capsized in the backwater. The incident took place on Thursday around 4 am. According to the sources, the deceased identified as Ramachandra Reddy, a resident of Kamareddy, Telangana visited Alappuzha along with his son for vacation.

He along with his son and others stayed at a houseboat on Wednesday night. But, the houseboat capsized in the waters and Ramachandra Reddy died in the accident in the early hours of Thursday. The locals immediately rescued other people and immediately shifted them to the nearby hospital. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
