India swept the series 2-0 in Mirpur by defeating Bangladesh by three wickets in the low-scoring second test. India overcame a batting collapse to reach the objective on the penultimate day at Mirpur's Shere Bangla National Stadium while chasing 145 for victory on a turning ground. While Bangladesh's best bowler was off-spinner Mehidy Hasan (5-63) Ravichandran Ashwin led India in scoring with an unbeaten 42. India won the game against all odds to win the series 2-0 and increase their prospects of reaching the World Test Championship final for a second time in a row.
