Bride-to-be falls into 120 feet water filled quarry while taking selfie, to-be groom jumps to rescue her
Kerala: In a nerve-wrenching incident, a bride-to-be accidentally fell into 120 feet deep granite quarry which is filled with water while taking a selfie with her fiancé and immediately the to-be groom also jumped into the water to rescue her. The shocking incident took place at the Kattupuram Ayiravilli quarry pond in Kalluvathukkal, Kollam district of Kerala on Thursday.
The bride identified as Sandra S Kumar and groom Vinu Kumar's marriage was scheduled to be held on Friday. The groom rescued her and hold onto a rock till the rescuers reached the spot. The locals and police rescued them and immediately shifted them to the hospital.
Doctors advised to take her three months of bed rest as she suffered injuries on her spine and leg. It is learnt that their wedding was postponed for three months.
