Student who stuck between train, platform at Duvvada railway station dies while undergoing treatment
Gajuwaka: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 20-year-old student who faced horrible pain after accidentally getting stuck between a train and a railway platform at Duvvada railway station passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to the reports, the deceased identified as Shashikala, a resident of Annavaram pursuing MCA first year at a private college near Duvvada in Visakhapatnam used to travel in train daily. On Wednesday, she accidentally slipped from the Guntur-Rayagda express train while deboarding.
She screamed for help and the passengers and railway staff tried hard to save her. After hours of struggling, the railway staff rescued her and shifted her to the nearby hospital but died while undergoing treatment. It is said she died due to internal bleeding and injury to the urine bladder.
