Warangal CP comments on YS Sharmila's padayatra

In response to the incidents that occurred during YSRTP President YS Sharmila's padayatra in Telangana state, Warangal Police Commissioner Ranganath has issued a show-cause notice to her. He said in his letter that YS Sharmila's padayatra had disrupted the law and order situation in Narsampet and that she needed to justify why permission for the padayatra shouldn't be withheld.

In a letter delivered today to Warangal Police Commissioner Ranganath, members of the YSR Telangana party's legal staff provided an explanation.

When responding to the news and requesting approval for YS Sharmila's padayatra, Warangal Police Commissioner Ranganath asked for two days. However, he emphasised that insulting remarks about any individual would never be taken into account.

If such violations are observed, the police would intervene, according to Ranganath.
