Amaravati: The Enforcement Directorate officials on Wednesday attached the assets worth Rs 22.10 crore belonging to former Andhra Pradesh TDP MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy, his associates and companies in an alleged BS-IV vehicles scam. Earlier, the ED officials filed a case against JC Prabhakar Reddy for allegedly purchasing the BS-III vehicles from Ashok Leyland Ltd at a discount price and registering as BS-IV vehicles by fabricating the invoice copies. The ED registered a case under PMLA and today attached the assets of JC Prabhakar Reddy and Gopal Reddy. The ED also investigating the role of Ashok Leyland in the scam.
