Portion of foot overbridge collapses in Balharshah railway station, 20 injured severely

Chandrapur: In a tragic incident, a portion of a foot overbridge collapsed at Balharshah Railway Junction in Chandrapur, Maharashtra on Sunday. According to the reports, the slab of a foot overbridge collapsed at a railway junction and the passengers walking on it fell to the ground from 60 feet height.

It is learnt that 20 persons were injured and eight of them are in critical in the stage. Officials suspected that heavy crowd on the foot overbridge is the reason behind the accident. The injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital.
