Suryapet: In a ghastly accident, five persons were killed and several injured severely after a lorry rammed into a tractor which was moving on the wrong side. The incident took place on the outskirts of Munagala, Suryapet on Saturday at midnight. According to the reports, 38 people from Munagala attended a pooja ceremony held at Ayyappa Swamy temple on the Sagar left canal on a tractor. The incident took place when they were on the way to their village after pooja. A speeding lorry rammed into the tractor when the driver drove the vehicle on the wrong route to reach the destination quickly. Five persons died on the spot and injured persons were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital.
