Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan criticised the YSRCP government, asserting that the demolition was done to intimidate the villages into stopping their support for the Jana Sena Party. He also demanded the government to change its activities or face the consequences. Reacting to the recce event at his house targeted him, Pawan Kalyan responded angrily, saying he was unfazed by it. In response, AP Minister Jogi Ramesh denied the claims of demolitions and said that it was merely a part of a road extension project. He has mocked Pawan Kalyan with sarcastic proverbs for losing the elections in both Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka and for flying high with his remarks on laying of highways across Idupulapaya.. Responding to the incident of the recce, Minister Jogi Ramesh questioned Pawan Kalyan, asking why a recce at him was necessary.
