Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan(JP), the founder of Lok Satta, asserted that rather than concentrating on the decentralisation process, practically all parties seek to grab power for their own interests. The former IAS officer in an interview with a media channel, criticised the way the YSRCP administration had confined Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan and prevented him from hosting a Jana Vani programme . JP claimed that it is an undemocratic act. Additionally, he has said that everyone has the democratic right to express their emotions in accordance with democratic and constitutional laws. The Lok Satta Chief responded to the AP Capital issue by saying that the Andhra Pradesh High Court has already made significant arguments about the capital issue. According to JP, the current administration should uphold the arrangement that was made with the farmers of Amaravati under the previous administration.
