Govind Singh, the director general of the Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID), lost his wife in a car accident on Monday near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The top CID official was travelling to Ramgarh with his wife, two other people, and himself after Monday's visit to the Tanot Mata Temple. According to reports, the accident occurred on the road between Ramgarh and Tanot Mata temple. The DG's health is stable, however his driver and another individual were both injured in the accident. There were four people in the car altogether. The car has significant damage. More information is awaited.
