On Sunday, the women members of the YSR Congress Party tied rakhis to the chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Among those who tied rakhi to him were Amalapuram MP Chinta Anuradha, Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha, and Araku MP Goddeti Madhavi. YS Jagan, the chief minister, is currently present in the capital to take part in the 7th NITI Aayog governing council meeting. The gathering is being presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is the first in person since July 2019. The Chief Minister was welcomed by YSRCP MPs Vijaysai Reddy, Midhun Reddy, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Margani Bharath, Nandigama Suresh, and others on Saturday night at the IGI airport.
