The NITI Aayog released a statement on Saturday in response to K Chandrashekhar Rao's (KCR) criticism of the institution. Over 30 meetings with the Chief Ministers took place last year. In Hyderabad last year, the delegation also visited the chief minister of Telangana. In a statement explaining KCR's assertions, NITI Aayog noted that the CM recently ignored demands for a meeting. The Indian government has given the state of Telangana Rs 3982 core during the past four years as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission. However, the state decided to just draw Rs 200 crore. The NITI Aayog added, "In addition, Rs 1195 cr was released to Telangana under PMKSY-AIBP-CADWM from 2014–2015 to 2021–2022. The NITI Aayog, often known as the think tank, claimed that some actions were already taken to cooperate with the states.
