Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy resigns from Congress- Press Meet Live
On Tuesday, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, an MLA from Munugodu, announced his resignation from the Congress Party and his position as a legislator. In a press conference on August 2 (Tuesday), he claimed that the state is being run by the one family and that ministers, MLAs, and opposition leaders are not respected. On this occasion, he made key comments about the politics of Telangana and his opinion on the Congress party.
'I hope that by resigning, the people would benefit.' They will select the probable winner of the byelection. Rajagopal Reddy continued, 'I have chosen to resign from the congress party as well as from the position of MLA.'
Although he did not express a desire to join the BJP, his gesture suggests that he will do so.
Prior to the 2023 assembly elections, a byelection in the Munugode constituency would be required due to Reddy's resignation.
