The first single from Ponniyin Selvan-1 is named 'Ponni Nadhi' in Tamil, 'Ponge Nadhi' in Telugu, and 'Kaveri Se Milne' in Hindi. A.R. Rahman, AR Raihanah, Bamba Bakya, and Anantha Sriram wrote the song's lyrics. AR Rahman is the song's composer and arranger. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R. Parthiban are among the cast members of the movie. Originally planned to be a standalone movie, Ponniyin Selvan was eventually divided into two parts. On September 30, 2022, the first chapter, PS-I, will be theatrically released all across the world.
