Kurnool: Two persons in Jonnagiri in Thuggali Mandal were found two diamonds in the fields. According to the reports, the farmers sold the diamonds for Rs 2 lakh and Rs 15,000 on June 28. It is known that some people made a beeline to Kurnool for a diamond hunt and to test their luck. It is learnt that two local merchants purchased the diamonds from the farmers for Rs 2 lakh and Rs 15,000. During every monsoon season, several people from faraway places will Jonnagiri, Peravali, Thuggali and Pagidirai villages to search for diamonds.
