Watch: In flight, Congress workers raise slogans against Kerala CM; a man pushes them down
After three days of state-wide protests, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was forced to fly from his home town of Kannur to the state capital in the midst of protest heat. According to reports, two young Congress activists shouted anti-Kerala CM slogans and attempted to approach him.
They were pushed down by alert Left Democratic Front convenor E.P. Jayarajan, who was the Industries Minister in the first Vijayan ministry. Local police had previously detained them in the airport for questioning, but they were eventually released after demonstrating medical concerns.
The footage taken on board the plane has gone viral.
