New Delhi, June 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday evening met the women boxers - Nikhat Zareen, Manisha Moun and Parveen Hooda - who won medals at the World Boxing Championships last month. India won a gold and two bronze medals at the recently concluded championship. Nikhat from Telangana state is the fifth Indian boxer to win a gold medal after Mary Kom and three others at the Women’s World Boxing Championships. She won gold medal by defeating Jitpong Jutamas of Thailand with 5-0 in 52 kg flyweight in Istanbul on May 19.
