The Telugu Desam Party's two-day political conference Mahanadu is planned to begin on May 27, coinciding with the birth centennial of party founder and former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao. TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is leading a massive motorcycle rally to the Mahanadu venue, which is being held in nondescript Manduvavaripalem village near Ongole for two days starting Friday, claimed that the Mahanadu would devise an action plan to depose the 'incompetent' Jagan Mohan Reddy Government and "save Andhra Pradesh. During the State Ministers' 'bus yatra' from Srikakulam, TDP State President K. Achan Naidu challenged the ruling YSRCP's claim that the government had ensured social fairness in the rebuilt Cabinet and a pride of place for the lower sections of people.
